Service Description

Date: Sunday, June 2nd Time: 10am- 2pm Location: Hahamongna Watershed Park Ages: 10 & up unless accompanied by a parent Cost: $70 OR one 6-pack class Instructor: Chris Morasky Surthriving the Apocalypse is more than a class; it's a blueprint for resilience in the face of uncertainty. Or as my Dene friend says, “in case of a hard winter.” Los Angeles is vulnerable to a variety of disaster scenarios that would stop the flow of electricity, water and even food trucks. Like in 2019, when a 7.1 magnitude earthquake hit near Ridgecrest, CA and affected 30 million people. Remember the pandemic? It’s unlikely that COVID will be the last or worst pandemic in our lifetimes. When, not if, a more serious disaster strikes, will you be ready? Whether you're a seasoned prepper or someone taking their first steps into disaster preparedness, this essential class will teach you practical skills, a comprehensive mindset, and the confidence to surthrive any apocalypse that comes your way. Delve into the contents of a well-prepared bugout bag. This bag contains everything you need to survive most situations and is often kept in your vehicle, just in case. From essential survival gear to first aid necessities, our class breaks down the must-haves for this emergency kit. Be ready to face any challenge that may come your way. Navigate the complex decision of whether to stay or go by looking at the big-picture considerations. Understand the critical factors that influence this decision, including evaluating your environment, assessing risks, and strategizing for various disaster scenarios. Gain the knowledge to make informed choices tailored to your unique circumstances. Finally, far too many preppers glamorize rugged individualism. Surviving any apocalypse is not a solitary endeavor. Explore the power of community and learn how to build resilience through collaboration. Discover strategies for fostering connections, sharing resources, and creating a supportive network that enhances the chances of surthrival in times of crisis.
